Do You Wear the Same Clothes in Your Different Travels? [SP]

My fellow traveler friends and I had this conversation about the clothes we bring every trip. It is already given that the professional nomads pack light. In comparison with the usual tourists, the number of outfits is definitely less than that of the latter’s luggage. But it was a revelation in our group that given our few selection, we still pack the same favorite set of clothes in different trips.

Why is that? It starts with the need to bring appropriate clothes depending on the itinerary. It could be for beach bumming, mountain hike, or spelunking. Because not all types of outfits we see from the stores can withstand the demands of the activities – sweat, sharp limestones, scene-stealer, travelers carry a handful of clothes by default.

And backpackers are poor travelers. LOL. Since we have already bought a set for all, we couldn’t afford to buy a second best stuff. The clothes are also of lesser priority now than plane tickets or accommodations. Since we don’t have any moolah to spend, we wear the same clothes for strenuous activities so the probability of these clothes to be unpurposed resides on the default.

We also want to test the durability (for documentation and sentimental value) of our travel wear. For example, how far does this pair of sandals will go (along with my broken heart)? And that pair of foot wear looks good with only few get ups.

Another reason is branding. Some of us are bloggers too. To inject an identity to our readers, we wear almost the same clothes or style for recall.

But now, I want to change this lifestyle when I travel. I came across with Zalora‘s latest collection. And man, I’m sold! I found some men’s outfits that sync with travel vibes. I’ll try to exchange some cost for a new style on my upcoming trips. Maybe I could venture to lifestyle and fashion blogging aside from humor and travel. Haha.

Besides it is also a rule to bring some smart casual and party clothes too in case we’re invited in a social night by a charming fellow traveler. Clothes make the man. They lead the wearer to places.

I am a recurring customer of Zalora so I give credence to its shopping experience promises. So after booking some flights and accommodations online, I could slip some time for shopping too. I save some steps and minutes because these merchandise our also delivered straight to my desired address.

Now, I am browsing for some shirts that go with my panda headwear or with my fedora.

One of my favourite travel quotes, the one we often see with a filter-enhanced landscape backdrop, reminds us that it's not the destination, but the journey that really matters more. And the means of moving is thus important if it’s indeed about the journey. Here comes a fun option of...
