Few weeks ago when the rains ended the summer season of the year, I had a break from getting out of town and had decided to stay (when others seem having the hard time to stay) in the metropolis with my friends. Just a stone’s throw away from the busting Makati Business District, we had chosen C Suites at Two Central Residences for a weekend staycation. I invited my group of fellow photographers as I’ve foreseen the place as Instagram worthy. Those large windows against the background of concrete jungle sold the idea of a fun shoot location. Not to mention that Japanese minimalism is evident.

Think C Suites as serviced condominium units. It’s a home somewhere between a residential unit and a hotel. Surprisingly, while each of the suites is spacious and has complete amenities, it is still within one’s budget and cheaper relatively with similar properties, let’s say in AirBnb. Since Two Central Building where C Suites rooms are located, security is ensured. There are four types of suites available. We’re given a studio suite. There is also a 1-bedroom suite, a twin suite and a family suite types.

When the clock strikes 2:35 but the first guest will come 5:32. The classic minimalism is what most Instagram users wish for.

With a little light play, the mood in the room can be set sans a partner.

If the weather outside is unpredictable like this, it’s a good decision to stay inside.

Guests of C Suites are allowed to use the building’s pool. Even though it’s a weekend, the pool is empty. Or maybe the cuddle weather that time is too cold to handle when one is to dip in the pool.

While there are good restaurants, ramen house and fastfood chains around the building, yes, food is allowed to be delivered. One can even cook because the kitchen offers utensils and cook sets. Complimentary breakfast is also served. A breakfast stub is given and redeemable at the restaurant at the lobby ground.

Each room has its own Wi-Fi router thus its proximity ensures faster network connection. Perfect for Instagram and Facebook stories and live updates.

It’s a party of five yet. Well, while sleepovers are like this have less time for actual sleep, we still managed to have a good rest after some Manille Liqueur de Calamansi over Jenga board game and Never Had I Ever truth game. By the way, there are available board games too one can ask from the reception.

We decided to take portraits the next morning when the sun, wiw finally it appeared, casts shadow.

We didn’t realize our time’s already up because the vicinity is quiet and one will not hear street noises as windows are securely closed.

Okay, I rarely pose for someone else’s lense. But yeah a lot of convincing happened. And I knew they’re just making fun of me. Lol.
