In the world wherein some choose to leave, it’s comforting to know there’s a place where we can actually stay. One of the best birthday gifts I’ve given to myself is a staycation with my friends who had been instrumental in my moving on stage. It’s only fitting on a very special day that we celebrate life with grandeur and style. Also, to reduce the pressure to singles brought by February being the love month, we’re also rewarding ourselves with a five-star staycation we think we deserved.

I had to go out for a field work even on my birthday. As a preview of how their rooftop bar would look and feel like when completed this first quarter, we’re brought to the deck. We enjoyed the unparalleled skyline view of the business district. As a photography enthusiast group, we couldn’t hide our excitement and joy while we’re capturing the city shining back to us.

Of all the breaks that I received, the one that I’M Hotel had catered is good. As they say, the only way to love again is give your heart a break – a vacation break it is!
