When Buzz Lightyear Landed in Jupiter

For someone who believes in infinity and beyond forever, Buzz Lightyear is my spirit animated character. Thus when Halloween happened, I came as the toy space ranger hero in my space suit. I have never been to any Halloween costume party before until I went to one with my Instagram gang in The Palace Pool Club. So I wanted my first to be fluidly in order and hassle free.

Squad goals achieved. Plus I got to play as Buzz Lightyear.

Getting through that Friday night was a challenge. I had to meet my friends who came from Zamboanga. Hangover permitting, I was also scheduled to have a weekend shoot the next day. Most importantly, everyone needed to survive the threatening Carmageddon that month end slash payday slash Exodus to province rolled in one day. So choosing a place to stay that solves these problems is a tricky one.

Appropriately punny, among those heavenly bodies from the universe, Buzz Lightyear myself stumbled upon Jupiter Street. I found Jupiter Suites, a budget hotel situated in Makati.

Jupiter Suites strategically resolves all my dilemma that week. I believe that with or without the Halloween party, staying at this budget accommodation is a wiser decision.

First, Jupiter Street itself offers a lot in the food department. So much has already been said and featured in Jupiter Street in lifestyle magazines and blogs because of its wide (and literally long) range of gastronomic experiences. Jupiter Suites is at the heart of the gastronomy. Having a food coma? Take a rest in the suites for a while.

Second, Jupiter Suites is few minutes away from other entertainment attractions. Greenbelt area and Century City are within reach. Even leaving the club scene at any time from Bonifacio Global City is less problematic because the route is short and safe.

Third is the accessibility of transportation. There is a number of means on how to get to and from Jupiter Suites. So whatever the traveller’s next destinations would be, whether the airport or provincial bus terminals, the commute is manageable.

I was able to meet my friends in a good restaurant nearby (They look like twins tho) in no time just few walks away from the suites.

Most importantly, Jupiter Suites has a pretty good line of amenities and facilities. The spaceman got the spacious room. Visitors of the occupants are welcomed at certain times so playing Cards Against Humanity among friends in the playroom is possible. I also got a decent breakfast to boost my day. A simple staycation happened to me while everyone else was busy for the holidays.
